NEVER RENT FROM STERLING!!! My fiance and I had rented a basement suit with them for almost a year, when we decided to buy a house. So we were looking for someone to take over our lease, however we had no luck. Following Sterlings rules, we paid rent for August, although we had already moved out of the suite. We had left all of our cleaning supplies as well as a log cabin that was made by a family member that recently passed away. We later found out that they had moved people into our suite without telling us!! So now here we are, a week and a half later, still waiting to get the rest of our stuff out of the suite. We contact the manager daily to ask her if she got our stuff yet, with the answer being no everytime. I am so upset and furious with this comany, what they did was so illegal and it needs to be dealt with at a higher level.

I found Sterling Management to be excellent in all aspects - following up with repairs and any concerns were addressed in a timely manner. We would have stayed longer but unfortunately our unit sold and we ended up buying instead. The ladies in the office were always very friendly and helpful, deposit paid back in full. All in all a great experience and if ever needed would rent from them again. Would definitely recommend!

Terrible attitude. Called the office, had a woman named crystal answer. I was asking questions she didn’t like, said there’s nothing I could do about and advised me not to call the RTB as it would be a waste of my time. I did call, got the answers I was looking for, the answers were not beneficial for sterling, hence why she lied straight to me. I called them back, and told her I spoke with the RTB, and in fact she could do something about it and asked why she lied to me and she was so rude and ignorant, told me she won’t do it and to call fsj office then hung up on me. Won’t ever even think of calling them again. Sterling management should really be looking into who they have speaking on their behalf.

I would give them minus 100 stars if I could. Sterling and owner Rob Herman illegally seized our entire household of belongings and when we won a Residential Tenancy Branch hearing to get our property back, we discovered that most of it has been stolen, presumably by Sterling Management and Rob Herman... furnishings, appliances, ALL of my husband's tools for work with a value of $10,000 minimum. I'm absolutely appalled. We'll definitely be pursuing every legal avenue open to us until we get our property back or the value of it.

Tried to rent from this company. me and my friend were going to get it together. my application was fine but his was refused because he did not have a previous landlord as he owned his house. because he could not provide documentation to prove ownership (he is going through a separation and his ex has the house where the paperwork is) his application was refused and therefor mine. i asked if i could rent the house and then have him just move in as a roommate and they refused, stating all residents must have an application accepted even though i alone make more than enough to pay for the house myself. absolute joke of a policy as the two of us reached out to action property management who immediately said they would allow it and empathized with his situation. go to action property management over this company. they actually show compassion.

I’d give less than 1 star but I don’t have the option. They are a nightmare to deal with and I didn’t even rent from them. Asked me for all my person information pay stubs, friends addresses, credit checks etc. all in which I provided just for them to turn me and my family away. I’ve also heard from previous tenants there places have bed bugs and the tenants having to throw out all their belongings. My brother rented from them and upon move in day the place was a disaster and him and his wife cleaned it spotless before moving out just to find out Sterling kept their damage deposit. I would not recommend renting from this garbage management group.

I recently sold my house, move close to Dawson in a farm but thinking twice it is not place to work or school close by for my daughter and I trying to start fresh after Covid craziness, have my own business fill up an application to be able to live in Dawson and the young lady that it's in charge of review applications on line told me I am not approved without even ask where it's my income come from they do not have a good customer service thank God I will not deal with this company and the cold customer service they provide I will tell my friends do not get involved with this company. Maybe my accent bother the young lady. Sorry for then, they lost a great tenant.

Submitted an application to view an apartment that I was interested in, they asked for proof of income and submitted documents showing proof of income. After following up a few times I got an email saying my application was declined, called to see on what terms and they stated they're not permitted to disclose that information??? WTH, it was my application. Oh well, they lost a good tenant. I ended up going to a different firm here and it's been great ever since.

Dumbest employees ever..she listened my name only one time and never repeated or asked to spell it...she went in her cabin and no clue what she was doing ...i checked and she was just looking for my name in her emails and i believe she did not find anything cause dumb girl even don't know what to search for and ; so instead of confirming with me she went to talk with other lady and came back with the answer- Not approved--. mostly they do not answer the phone call it's happend many times.....worst customer service....
